• Attention to detail – Manual Bail Design: To minimize line twist, it is recommended to manually close the bail arm after casting with any spinning reel. However, the size 3000 & 4000 Kapstan Elite Spinning reels offer the option to turn the handle to close the bail if preferred. On the other hand, the size 5000/6000 & 8000 Kapstan Elite spinning reels require manual bail closure to initiate the retrieve.
• Important note – Turning the handle will not automatically close the bail. This feature is specific to larger saltwater reels and not a design flaw. To begin the retrieve, simply make your cast and manually close the bail.
